Operations Update

The HCDDS building is surrounded by trees and landscaping
Our ongoing operations remain unchanged. Following guidance issued by the county administrator this week, HCDDS employees will continue to work remotely through at least the end of the year.

We know that “virus fatigue” is beginning to cause people to let down their guard against exposure and spread of the virus. But we know the virus itself will not become fatigued. We need to be vigilant in our daily routines, follow prescribed practices, and make our individual contribution to providing a safe environment.  Please continue to practice safety measures including avoiding large gatherings, wearing a mask in public places, maintaining at least 6 feet of distance from others, and washing your hands frequently.
Please note that wearing a protective mask is required at all times in all public areas of County buildings. This requirement has been in place since May 4 and will continue until further notice.

In addition to these safety protocols, we are asking anyone who has traveled to one of the states outlined by the Ohio Department of Health NOT enter any of the HCDDS buildings for the 14 days following their return home, with the exception of commuters who live in one of those states.

The health and safety of the people we support, their families, and our employees is our highest priority.
