Virtual Celebration

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), one of the most important and wide-reaching pieces of civil rights legislation in U.S. history. The ADA is meant to ensure equal opportunity for all citizens, regardless of their disability status.

We planned to hold a celebration at Washington Park but decided an in-person gathering was not safe at this time. Instead, we’re celebrating virtually with different events. Find them all on our Disability Pride 2020 Facebook event.
