New web series

We're excited to debut a new three-part web series, "How I See It." Hosted by advocate Robert Shuemak, this talk-show style series focuses on how accessible technology can help people with and without disabilities in their everyday lives. 

View the episode below or watch it on YouTube. New episodes, all about 10 minutes long, will be released every two weeks on the HCDDS YouTube Channel, and all episodes include closed captions. We'll post each episode in this article as they're released. 

Episode 1: Smart Home Technology

The first guest is consultant and advocate Heather Sturgill, who discusses the smart home technology she uses to make her home more accessible.

Episode 2: Accessible Software

In this episode, Robert welcomes Debra Jones, a systems analyst at Hamilton County DD Services, to discuss some of the software that Robert uses that can help someone with a visual impairment or other disability to better use their computer and iPhone.

Episode 3: Public Transportation

The third episode of "How I See It" features Brandy Jones, director of external affairs, talking about how Cincinnati Metro uses technology to make public transportation more accessible to riders
